My dream trip across Europe, part 4

created by fazenross on 2018-01-19

My dream trip across Europe, part 4
This is part 4 of 6. It covers my journey from Vitebsk, Belarus, where part 3 ended, through European Russia, and takes us through the Caucasus and into Turkey. Most of Turkey and the Caucasus are in Asia, but they were in the European sphere during the Greek, Roman and Byzantine years and again now, plus they are 'along the way', so I included them. From Turkey we go to Bulgaria and Greece, with a side trip to Cyprus. We visit Greece again to finish off this part. Part 5 will start in Albania.
